Each mobile phone has an international registration number to help in tracking down stolen phones. This is called an IMEI number. To read this number from your mobile phone, turn on power, and enter *#06#. Read out the first 15 digits (starting from the left) on the phone screen.

What is GPRS in GSM network?
In GSM network, GPRS provides the fast data transmission. Most devices report GPS location data using either SMS or GPRS or both. iCare123 supports GPRS transmission.
Can I use a pre-paid SIM Card for my iCare GPS phone for data transmission?
It varies from one mobile phone operator/carrier to another. In certain cases, the Operator uses the same SIM card for all services (inclusive of GPRS). But in other cases, Operator categories each type of SIM for specific services. Check with the local Operator to ensure that the SIM card supports GPRS as well as voice.
What are the special parameters that I need to know about GPRS?
You need to find out from your phone Operator about the settings on their GPRS service. There are 3 : (i) APN – access point number, (ii) username and (iii) password. Typical example looks like: APN= internet, Username= blank ; and Password= blank
On the map view display, I can only see one point at a time. Is this the most current location?
Yes, it is commonly as Last Known Location.
Can the same point be viewed in other map sources?
Yes, you can, so long as you do it before the next new point arrives into the system. Any new point will replace the old point.
Can I print out a map view for my own record on iCare123 service?
